Survival

Urban intervention with life jackets in sixteen monuments of the city of São Paulo. The work was carried out on twentieth century sculptures that glorify heroes of national history.

The occupation of the historical heritage in the São Paulo capital is integrated into my work with the proposal to visually reactivate elements of the city's history, architecture and social conviviality - territories abandoned by the urban imagination.

By creating a situation in which the city looks back at itself, I propose a reflection on the bond between the citizen and the space, and also on the possibilities of recreating the collective landscape.
