Installation with thousands of jars of canned hearts of palm, of illegal origin, seized by the Forest Police on the border of the state of São Paulo.
The food was illegally extracted from the forest and stored in jars collected from garbage dumps, with contaminated water and without the minimum hygienic care.
Invited by the Secretary of Environment, I created a visual work in Villa Lobos Park with these hearts of palm, which were stored in a government warehouse. After the exhibition, the material was incinerated.
