The CURA intervention was carried out in my studio, at the beginning of the pandemic, to pay homage to health professionals and to symbolically protect my working and living environment. The monumental red cross painted on the water tank and installed in the architecture of the building could be seen from marginal Pinheiros, in the south zone of São Paulo.
The studio has always been a place of mental and spiritual strengthening. In this place was born "Camp of Angels", my first artistic intervention. Our house has never been so essential as a space of protection and safeguard. Painting and installing this symbol in the city gave me hope during this difficult moment we are living with COVID-19.
